SCF Student Receives Scholarship to Help Complete Teacher Program

(Bradenton, Fla., Oct. 8, 2019) —State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) student Michelle Krawkoski was awarded a $1,500 scholarship from Alpha Delta Gamma Omicron. The purpose of the scholarship is to help a student in SCF’s Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) to obtain their teacher certification. Krawkoski was recognized during Alpha Delta Gamma Omicron’s annual scholarship fundraiser.

SCF EPI is a teacher-preparation program designed to prepare non-education majors to become successful classroom teachers. Through EPI, candidates with teaching aspirations and a bachelor’s degree in any discipline can work toward teacher certification with the skill to become highly qualified teachers in Florida.
