Dr. José Roque Jr., D.D.S.

Dr. José Roque Jr., D.D.S. discovered his passion for dentistry after completing a vocational interest test as a sophomore attending Booker High School. He holds an Associate in Arts from State College of Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of Florida and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Roque enjoys giving back to the local community through Give Kids A Smile, Team Smile, Remote Area Medical and Project Christmas Smile. He is currently practicing dentistry at Greenberg Dental & Orthodontics in Sarasota. 

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Tessa Angelo Suplee

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Tessa Angelo Suplee is the recipient of SCF’s Lifetime Achievement Award for the Leroy Collins Distinguished Alumni Awards in recognition of her “contributions as a flight nurse in Iraq and Afghanistan with the U.S. Air Force Reserve.” She also earned recognition for working as a “critical care and operating room nurse in the local community.” Retired Lt. Col. Suplee states her time in the SCF nursing program is one of her best life experiences.

Kyle Coppola

Kyle Coppola is an outstanding molecular biology research assistant at The Roskamp Institute, a leading non-profit bio-medical research company. Coppola credits his success to the education and internship opportunities he experienced at SCF. He took biotechnology classes and completed an internship at Enzymedica. “SCF prepared me for this job. I am doing research and using skills I learned in class,” states Coppola.
