(Bradenton, Fla., April 23, 2019) — The Film Club at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host comedian Cyrus Steele at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Apr. 27 in The David S. and Anne V. Howard Studio Theatre at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. Students are invited to enjoy a much-needed break from pre-exam studies. Both shows are also open to the general public. The SCF Presidential String Quartet will open for Steele before each show.Growing up in the small town of Savannah, Ga., Cyrus Steele moved to Atlanta in 2005, quickly establishing himself as one of the city’s top comics and a master impressionist, imitating everyone from Kevin Hart to Chris Rock to Barack Obama (and even Donald Trump)! Since then, Steele was selected by HBO for the Comedy Wings Competition, as part of the American Black Film Festival, and he has performed for FOX’s “Showtime at the Apollo” and NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”
