Aspiring Musicians and Thespians Can Earn Scholarships to SCF

(Bradenton, Fla., March 26, 2019) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) invites aspiring musicians and thespians to audition for scholarships Saturday, Apr. 20 at SCF’s Neel Performing Arts Center, SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Building 11 East. Scholarships are available for students whether they wish to pursue music and acting as a career or an enjoyable avocation.

Music scholarships are available for Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Musical Theatre Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Jazz Big Band, Jazz Combo, Keyboard, Symphonic Band and SCF Bradenton Symphony Orchestra. Theatre scholarships are available for acting and technical theatre. Students do not have to be music or theatre majors to receive ensemble scholarships.

Full tuition waiver scholarships in the amount of $3,500 are available for students who are chosen for the Presidential String Quartet or Presidential Jazz Combo.
